How it works
This calculator tells you the longest single stay you can take in the Schengen Area, starting from a future entry date. Two inputs: how many days you have used inside the last 180 days, and the date you plan to arrive.
Behind the scenes, the calculator looks at how your past days line up with the 180-day window on your planned arrival. Some of those days will still count on that day, and some will have aged out by then. From the remaining allowance, it works out the longest continuous stay you can take from your entry date without crossing the 90-day cap on any day of your trip.
The result is given as a number of days plus the latest date you can stay until. If you have used the full 90 days recently, the calculator will tell you that no stay is available on your chosen entry date and suggest moving it later.
This tool answers a single hypothetical: if I enter Schengen on this date, how long can I stay? It assumes you do not leave Schengen during the trip. If your itinerary includes time outside Schengen, use the Trip Planner instead.
